Room 216 is on the same floor as the casino, so there was a main door that you had to enter through to be able to have access to the actual hotel rooms on that floor. Let me start off by saying that we weren’t told that we needed to use the card key to utilize the elevators or to get to our room. When we checked in to the hotel, we were placed in Room 216. This was our first trip away by ourselves in almost 3 years. We had meetings to attend on the 29th in the event center however, we also wanted to treat ourselves to a few nights away together. On the dates of July 27-July 29, 2022, my husband and I drove into Baton Rouge to stay at L’auberge Hotel and Casino.
